Pilot Bill Gibson is the older brother of Jimmy Gibson; both are characters from the British TV series Supercar, and appear in its first episode, Rescue.
Bill is perhaps the most unusual member of Team Black Rock; not just because he appears only on a semi-regular basis (while younger sibling Jimmy lives full-time at the secret Nevada base), but he assays a number of different roles - from deep-sea diver (Deep Seven) to astronaut (Space For Mitch), to commercial-airliner pilot (Hi-Jack) - even to owning his own business, Gibson's Transport (Keep It Cool). And while his relations with Doctor Beaker might be a bit on the prickly side, his eclectic body of knowledge and contacts invariably come in useful when his friends are in need of them!
