In 1993, writer Dave Morris made four books based on episodes from the original tv series. They were as follows: The Mysterons, Noose of Ice, Lunarville 7 and The Launching. Each were published by Young Corgi.
They were illustrated by Arkadia and also had lyrics to Captain Scarlet's original theme song and illustrated diagrams of four of Spectrum's Craft and Vehicles with a description by Stewart Larking.
