"And I said I didn't wasn't to get my feet wet. Well, you can't always win..." - Mike Mercury
Deep Seven is the 15th produced, and the 16th broadcast, episode of the British television series Supercar.
Plot[]
What underwater depths can Supercar reach? Team Black Rock is ready to start an ambitious project to find out...
With Dr. Beaker and Bill Gibson monitoring events from their shoreside encampment - and Professor Popkiss, Jimmy and Mitch listening in from the Nevada secret base - Mike prepares Supercar for a very careful liftoff. A special cable, with a communications buoy attached - to keep radio contact open - trails after him as he cautiously settles Supercar upon the watery surface. ("It floats!" a pleased Bill exclaims.)
Now the underwater testing begins in earnest, as the Marvel of the Age slowly submerges, until it reaches the seabed at 400 feet down...
Suddenly: "Professor! Water!" The cockpit's leaking, and the engines are affected! Not only that, but Mike realizes he's not alone down there - a large and rather menacing-looking sea-creature has its eye on him, and physically accosts the stranded Supercar...
Worst of all: Supercar has also become snagged on a mine cable - an unexploded-mine cable - and as an ominous radio-silence falls, it's up to Bill, who dons his diving-suit and goes below to try to somehow cut it free...

Trivia[]
- Mike states that Supercar has previously been tested at 40 feet underwater, suggesting that the vehicle descended no deeper than this in Island Incident.
- Having once been rescued from the sea (along with his brother) by Mike and Supercar, Bill now returns the favor by saving them from the peril of the live undersea mine.
