Plot[]
When a civilian test pilot named Paul Foster sees and photographs a UFO, it is felt it may be a danger to SHADO. A major part of their job is to prevent the mass hysteria and terror that could be caused by confirmation of the existence of UFO's So a major operation is undertaken to nullify the threat represented by Paul Foster, until he is finally convinced to join SHADO himself.

- Matt Zimmerman (Co-Pilot Jim) is best known as the voice of Alan Tracy in Thunderbirds (TV), although his voice is dubbed here by Jeremy Wilkin.
- Foster and Jim reveal that the XV-104 bomber is capable of 2,200 knots at 250,000 feet.
- Dr. Jackson reveals that the SHADO plane has a cruising speed of 500 knots. The aircraft also bears the insignia of the World Air Force, previously seen in episodes of Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons, Joe 90 and The Secret Service.
- This episode marks the first appearance of Dr. Doug Jackson. Vladek Sheybal (the actor who plays him) was previously seen as Dr. Beauville in Doppelgänger and later appears as Sandor Karoleon in The Protectors episode Brother Hood.
