Spectrum Strikes Back is the tenth produced and the ninth broadcast, episode of the British television series Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons.

Plot

At a secret conference in a hidden Spectrum base beneath the hunting lodge of a private African game reserve, Doctor Giadello announces the development of two devices that will turn the tide for Spectrum in their struggle with the Mysterons. But the Mysterons intend to sabotage the conference from within...

• World President Younger returns in this episode, for his second and final appearance (after The Mysterons).
• It also features Spectrum agent Captain Indigo, who was unfortunately murdered by Captain Black early on in the episode.
• General Tiempo and Dr. Theodore Magnus were mentioned in this episode. Dr. Magnus' puppet also appears as General Peterson.
• Filming began on Stage 3 on 13 March 1967.
