Spyros is a character from the TV series Supercar.
An itinerant gypsy and local bandit who's recently given himself a considerable payday - in the form of a haul of diamonds - he's hidden the stolen strongbox containing them on the sea floor, where the Mediterranean authorities (and anyone else) can't find it. Or so he thinks - until the appearance of an American archaeologist and his friends, who are exploring a sunken ancient temple in the same area!
Determined to protect his ill-gotten gains, he's prepared to resort to any means necessary...
Spyros appears in the episode The Sunken Temple.
