Plot[]
The Commission is considering bids for Demeter's lucrative energy franchise, held for the last ten years by Maxx Zeller's Fusion Power Company, but Miss Numar intends to offer a clean solar energy system using Luxorian Ice.
Synopsis[]
While Brogan and Haldane investigate the death of reformed jewel-thief Vella Sugoi, whose body has been found in an alley. Podly insists on supervising the security arrangements when Solartek chief executive Numar and her security chief Rodan announce that they are bringing Luxorian Ice worth four billion credits into the precinct for a presentation to the Energy Commission. The Commission is considering bids for Demeter's lucrative energy franchise, held for the last ten years by Maxx Zeller's Fusion Power Company, but Numar intends to offer a clean solar energy system using Luxorian Ice. Then Rodan is found dead outside a bar and Slomo discovers a link to Vella's death when he reviews the bar's security tapes, a high-class call-girl named Sylvain made contact with both tarns shortly before their bodies were found.
